[Review] Sofina iP Base Care Essence

The correct sequence to using the Sofina iP Base Essence is right after washing your face, even before applying your toner. The foam is contained in an aerosol can, so hold the container upright without shaking, and pump a 3-cm dollop onto your hand without breaking the foam apart. Next, dab an equal amount of the foam onto your cheeks, forehead, chin and nose, gently smoothing it over your entire face and lightly tapping to let it absorb for 1-2 minutes.

[Review] Torriden Dive-In Serum

With an unique, patented 5D Hyaluronic Acid Formula, the Torriden Dive-In Serum stands out from the rest with its combination of 5 types of differently-sized HA molecules, including Hyacross hyaluronic acid elastomer that forms a 3D breathable moisture layer on the skin which enhances its natural barrier, along with low molecule hyaluronic acid particles that penetrate and boost the moisture levels in the deepest layers of our skin. This is further combined with D-Panthenol, a sub-nutrient of vitamin B5 to aid in the repair of skin roughness, redness and fine lines, helping the skin attract and retain the extra moisture. Also, with malachite mineral extract, ceramide, allantoin and Witch Hazel to further protect the skin from oxidative stress, free radicals and environmental pollution.

[Review] Tofu Moritaya Mask

The Tofu Moritaya only uses carefully selected ingredients such as domestic soybeans “Fukuyutaka” from the famous Saga prefecture, as well as “Toyomasari” from Hokkaido, and soy milk from spring water in Shiiba Village in Miyasaki Prefecture to make their products. The soy milk collected is then fermented to produce soy milk liquor that contains soy isoflavones, and combined with yogurt and honey which are known to balance the moisture levels in skin and keep skin smooth, firm and hydrated.

[Review] Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule

The Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule has a transparent, watery consistency that absorbed quickly into the skin, leaving my skin moist, smooth and refreshed. Since it is free of parabens and fragrances, it felt extremely comfortable on the skin and left a non-sticky finish. I usually apply ampoules in this sequence at night – wash, tone, ampoule, essence/serum, moisturiser, spot treatment. 2-3 drops usually does the work, and it is a good base to work on before slathering on the moisturiser.

[Review] Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence

Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence improves skin barrier protection and deliver vital nutrients to keep the skin hydrated, smooth and soft. Coming in a fuss-free 60ml pump bottle, I am using the newly formulated Gen 2 essence with the ingredients including Snail Secretion Filtrate, Bee Venom, Benton also added in aloe leaf juice and hollyhock roots which further provide hydration, locking in moisture to keep skin young and radiant. The Bee venom also tricks the skin into thinking it got “stung” and induces an extra surge of collagen production.

[Review] COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

The COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser is a mildly acidic gel cleanser at ph5, which claims to gently deep cleanse the skin to remove excess sebum and dead skin cells while maintaining skin pH balance. It contains Betaine Salicylate, a natural BHA exfoliator that unclogs pores, tea tree oil that controls oil, reduces acne, blemishes and improves complexion, as well as citric acid (AHA) for anti-aging benefits. [Review] Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol- Free Toner

I have always loved Kiehl’s for its natural formulations and the Kiehl’s Calendula Toner was one I always turn to whenever my skin kicks up its tantrums. Formulated with calendula petals, burdock root and allantoin -which are all traditional medicinal herbs commonly used in old skin remedies- the toner soothes and reduce skin inflammation while it hydrates and balances the skin pH. Best of all, it is formulated without alcohol, which makes it suitable not only for normal to oil-skin types, but also sensitive skin.

KOSE Clear Turn Vitamin C Mask Review

Review of Kose Clear Turn White Vitamin C Mask. you can use it two ways. If you wish for a relaxing spa experience, heat it up slightly in a warm water bath for 5-10 minutes before usage. Else, you could go the usual way and chill in the refrigerator to help refine pores while the mask sets. After washing your face, prep with toner and smooth the sheet mask out evenly to fit your face. There are eye pads included so you could mask the skin around your pretty peepers as well. It was recommended to use the mask consecutively for a couple of weeks to see an obvious change.
